One of her favorite pastimes was watching baseball or listening to the Red Sox games on the radio and later television. I recall the day she put me and my bother, Peter, into the car and drove to a cemetery where she parked the car, told us to get out and play under a tree, while she sat back undisturbed to listen to a critical ball game on the radio undisturbed from the hustle and bustle of drop-ins at home.
